Job Description
The Director sources, designs, sells, and oversees 401(k), profit sharing, and cash balance plans for business owners and professional practices. You will be the firm's lead voice on qualified plans, from first conversation with an owner through plan installation and annual review.
The ideal candidate has sold combination 401(k)/cash balance designs to medical, dental, legal, engineering, and closely held businesses. You know how to show a 55-year-old owner a six-figure deductible contribution, and how to keep the plan passing nondiscrimination testing for the staff.
You will work alongside our wealth management team, so plan sponsors become full-relationship clients. Plan wins also feed our private wealth, estate, and tax planning services.
Licensing, Registration & Supervision
Licensing, Registration & Supervision
The employee will serve in the capacity of Retirement Plan Consultant until all required licensing, registration, and firm approval requirements have been satisfied.
During this period, the employee will perform duties consistent with their current licensing and registration status and will operate under the supervision of appropriately licensed and designated firm personnel, as required by applicable regulatory requirements and firm policies.
Any activities requiring additional licensing, registration, or authorization, including certain investment advisory, fiduciary, or client-facing responsibilities, must be reviewed and approved by appropriately authorized personnel before being undertaken.
Upon completion of the required licensing and registration requirements, and subject to firm and Compliance approval, the employee's title, responsibilities, and scope of authority may be expanded to reflect the Director of Qualified Plans role.
