Duties

• Prepare food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and freshness.
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Manage food service customer orders from takeout to dine-in, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
• Maintain a clean workspace by sanitizing surfaces, organizing supplies, and adhering to food safety protocols.
• Handle cash register operations, process cash and card transactions, and balance cash drawers at shift end.
• Assist with bussing tables, sanitation, and overall restaurant cleanliness to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or fast-food environments with a focus on efficiency.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing sales and managing transactions.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy periods without sacrificing quality.
• Effective communication skills for engaging with customers positively and working seamlessly with team members.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing.
• Previous experience in retail sales transactions or grocery store environments is a plus but not required.
