Prestonwood Country Club is looking for a dependable, hardworking Racquet Sports Court Maintenance Specialist to join our Racquet Sports team. This Full-Time position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in keeping facilities clean and well-maintained. You will work closely with the Director of Tennis Operations and Tennis staff to make sure our courts and facilities are maintained to the high standards our members expect.

What You’ll Do

·         Maintain 6 Har-Tru clay courts, 8 hard tennis courts, and 4 pickleball courts
·         Keep drains around pickleball and tennis courts cleaned.
·         Sweep and maintain clay Racquet Sports courts daily, both morning and afternoon.
·         Blow off sidewalks and hard courts as needed.
·         Keep benches, tables, coolers, and other areas clean and ready for members.
·         Replace and refill coolers with ice and water.
·         Keep towels and cups stocked throughout the day.
·         Empty trash cans around the Racquet Sports courts and Racquet Sports building.
·         Pick up stray Racquet Sports balls, trash, and other debris around the courts.
·         Pull weeds and keep areas around water boxes and fences clean and free of leaves and debris.
·         Maintain and replace windscreens and tie wraps as needed.
·         Clean and organize the outside storage room.
·         Take trash and cardboard to the appropriate disposal areas.
·         Charge and maintain the golf cart daily.
·         Travel to a satellite Racquet Sports facility by car or golf cart to perform similar maintenance duties.
·         Communicate daily maintenance concerns or facility issues with the Racquet Sports staff.
·         Help ensure Racquet Sports facilities and equipment are clean, organized, and properly maintained.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is someone who:

·         Is available to work 6:30am-2:30pm 5 days per week.
·         Takes pride in their work and pays close attention to detail.
·         Is dependable, responsible, and able to work independently.
·         Has good communication and teamwork skills.
·         Is comfortable performing general maintenance and cleaning tasks.
·         Has basic handyman skills or experience with areas such as gardening, painting, carpentry, equipment repair, window washing, or general cleaning.
·         Is willing to learn and follow proper safety procedures.

Position Compensation & Benefits

·         Competitive hourly rate of $16-$18 per hour offered depending on experience
