General Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direct supervision to Service Desk and Desktop Support staff, including workload management and staffing coverage.
- Ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests while maintaining high customer satisfaction and service level performance.
- Oversee IT service delivery processes and ensure adherence to established procedures and ITSM best practices.
- Coordinate escalation and resolution of complex technical issues across IT teams.
- Standardize troubleshooting, documentation, and knowledge base development.
- Oversee desktop lifecycle management including deployment, imaging, patching, and asset tracking.
- Ensure endpoint security, compliance standards, and protection measures are implemented.
- Monitor service desk metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and user experience.
- Lead process improvement initiatives and workflow optimizations.
- Partner with IT leadership and departments to align support operations with organizational priorities.
- Oversee onboarding/offboarding processes and device provisioning.
- Provide staff development including coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate vendor interactions and technology-related services.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Performs similar or related duties as assigned.
- Knows fire, disaster and safety procedures and regulations as it pertains to the work area
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required.
- 3 to 5 years of IT-related experience is required. 1 to 2 years of progressive IT support experience, including supervisory or lead, is preferred.
- Valid State of Florida Drivers License (FDL) and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that is acceptable to PMC’s corporate automobile insurance carrier is strongly preferred — license will be screened prior to employment and annually thereafter (if applicable).
- AHCA fingerprint clearance required.
- ITIL Foundation or Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification is required to be obtained within 1 year of employment.
