Colby Community College (CCC) invites applications for a part-time Clinical Nursing Instructor - Adjunct to provide on-site clinical instruction to our nursing students while they are performing their clinical rotations.
This is a part-time, non-benefit eligible position. The hourly rate of pay for this position will be $40.70 per hour.

- Current Kansas RN license and CPR certification required.
- BSN/MSN or active progress towards a BSN/MSN is preferred.
Essential Duties
- Supervise nursing students as they perform their clinical rotations in various healthcare settings.
- Assess student learning and application of course objectives and competencies.
- Coordinate with Faculty on student performance and provide feedback and guidance as needed.
- Participate in various professional activities and recruiting and advising students is expected.
Clinical Locations
The College partners with various healthcare facilities including Valley Hope, Larned, Oakley, and Citizens. The exact clinical site placements are determined based on operational and programmatic need and coordinating facilities.

Schedules are still being finalized, and will updated when they are available.
The current schedule is for October and November 2026 with Clinical Dates running from 10.1.26 - 11.5.26 with placements at Valley Hope and Larned.

Compensation: $40.70 per hour
Colby Community College is located in northwest Kansas, approximately 50 miles from the Nebraska and Colorado borders. From a humble beginning of 99 students in 1964, CCC now serves more than 2,400 students annually.
In addition to a 57-acre main campus, a 60-acre farm is used as a hands-on laboratory and training facility. The College also accommodates hundreds of off-campus students through face-to-face, online, and hybrid courses.
