Accounting Assistant for CCA

 

Reports to:                          CCA Accounting Supervisor 

FLSA Status:                        Hourly (Non-Exempt)

Hours per week:               40 hours, Full-time

Campus:                              Melbourne

 

 

This position provides school billing and general accounting support to the Calvary Chapel Academy accounting team. 

·   Maintain student files and reports (1 Corinthians 14:40)

·   Customer Service to parents and School staff inquires (James 2:18)

·   Post school and scholarship payments (1 Peter 4:10)

·   Assist CCA accounting team members, as needed(1 Thessalonians 5:11)

·   Other duties as assigned by supervisor (Colossians 3:23)

·   Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to deal with sensitive issues while exercising good knowledge of proper grammar and punctuation 

·   Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Word

·   Some Bookkeeping knowledge and skills (1 Peter 5:2-3)

·   Ability to maintain confidentiality of information

·   Ability to stay calm in stressful situations (1 Kings 9:4)

·   A dependable team player who works well with people at all levels of the organization

·   Calvary Chapel must be your home church with regular attendance
