Colby Community College is seeking qualified candidates for inclusion in a general pool of adjunct faculty. This posting is intended to collect applications from individuals interested in teaching opportunities across various disciplines as needs arise.
Adjunct faculty may be assigned to teach online, hybrid, or on-campus courses depending on institutional needs. Courses and assignments will vary by term and program demand.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver instruction in assigned courses in accordance with college standards
- Maintain timely communication with students and college personnel
- Assess student learning and provide appropriate feedback
- Utilize the college’s learning management system and instructional technologies
- Adhere to all institutional policies and procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or a related field (or as otherwise required by accrediting standards)
- Relevant professional or teaching experience preferred
Compensation
The rate of pay is $650.00 per credit hour.

Colby Community College is located in northwest Kansas, approximately 50 miles from the Nebraska and Colorado borders. From a humble beginning of 99 students in 1964, CCC now serves more than 2,400 students annually.
In addition to a 57-acre main campus, a 60-acre farm is used as a hands-on laboratory and training facility. The College also accommodates hundreds of off-campus students through face-to-face, online, and hybrid courses.
