Now Hiring: Customer Service Coordinator (1st Shift)
Location: Decatur, AL

Pay: $23.00–$26.00 per hour

Are you someone who enjoys building relationships, staying organized, and being the go-to person who keeps everything running smoothly? We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Coordinator to join our team on 1st shift. In this role, you’ll play a key part in connecting our customers with our internal teams to ensure a seamless experience from order to delivery.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll be at the center of communication—supporting customers while working closely with our sales, production, and shipping teams. Your day may include:

  •  Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with customers through ongoing communication 
  •  Receiving and reviewing customer purchase orders through various channels 
  •  Ensuring orders are accurate in pricing, timing, and delivery expectations 
  •  Sending order confirmations and keeping customers informed every step of the way 
  •  Coordinating with internal teams to keep production running smoothly 
  •  Creating and managing work orders and production schedules 
  •  Tracking and expediting orders to meet customer needs 
  •  Proactively communicating updates or resolving any issues that arise 
  •  Supporting sales with quotes, bids, and customer requests 
  •  Keeping organized and accurate documentation for all customer interactions and orders

What We’re Looking For

  •  High school diploma or equivalent 
  •  At least 6 months of experience in a manufacturing or similar environment 
  •  Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word, and other basic computer programs 
  •  Strong communication skills—both written and verbal 
  •  Ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines 
  •  A team player with great interpersonal skills and sound judgment 
  •  Ability to work independently while staying connected with the team 
  •  Willingness to occasionally travel locally to customer sites 
Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This role is primarily office-based and includes:

  •  Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer 
  •  Occasional standing, walking, bending, and light lifting (up to 25 lbs) 
  •  Frequent communication with team members and customers
