GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works in coordination with the overall goals and objectives of First Naples.
- To grow in the practical knowledge & experience of worship leadership by serving First Naples Church in planning, preparing & leading worship for the summer of 2025.
SPECIFIC LIST OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Weekend Worship Service
- Assist the Worship Pastors/Leaders in worship planning

- Learn the process of preparing for worship, from planning to implementing to evaluating

- Regular opportunities for leading worship in our weekend services at First Naples and First Cape (as part of the team)

Wednesday Night Worship
- Planning Musical Worship for either HSM, MSM or Summer Bible Study (weekly) alongside our team

- Facilitating band practice & investing in the HSM & MSM bands

College Worship
- Assisting in planning College Worship on Monday Nights

- Assist in preparing charts, rehearsal aids, visual presentation

Children's Worship (As Needed)
- Help with Surf City (not a weekly obligation)

- ProPresenter preparation and PCO administration

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in Worship Ministry, Music, Christian Ministry, or a related field. Experience in leading worship, playing an instrument, or singing in a church setting is preferred. Familiarity with worship planning, band coordination, or music production software is a plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
The individual must have strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with worship team members, students, and church staff. They should be able to clearly articulate worship concepts, provide musical direction, and encourage volunteers. The ability to build positive relationships and foster a welcoming worship environment is essential.
COMPUTER AND MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Basic proficiency in computer software and worship technology is required, including experience with ProPresenter, Planning Center Online (PCO), and digital audio workstations such as Ableton, MainStage, Playback, or Finale (Dorico). The ability to create and organize worship charts, rehearsal materials, and presentations is helpful.
REASONING ABILITY
The individual must be able to adapt to different worship environments, adjust setlists as needed, and problem-solve in a live worship setting. They should be flexible, creative, and able to anticipate the needs of the worship team, volunteers, and congregants.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- While performing the duties of this job, the individual will be actively involved in worship services, rehearsals, and events. They must be able to stand for extended periods, move equipment as needed, and engage in high-energy worship settings. The ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds for instrument setup and stage preparation may be required. Reasonable accommodation may be provided to support those with disabilities.

- Dates: Start Late May - End of July
- Length: 6-8 weeks

- With the exception of camps, work hours will range from 30-40 per week
