GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works in coordination with the overall goals and objectives of First Naples.
- Assists the Middle School Pastor and High School Director to work toward excellence in all areas of the ministry.
SPECIFIC LIST OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist staff in planning and preparing for our camps
- Volunteering at events such as VBS
- Facilitate weekly ministry events such as Sunday mornings, girl's ministry worship night, and summer socials
- Assisting the student ministry team in preparing for fall ministry.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in Christian Ministry, Education, or a related field. Experience working with students in a church, camp, or youth group setting is preferred. Familiarity with event planning, volunteer coordination, or small group leadership is a plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
The individual must have strong communication skills to connect with students, parents, volunteers, and staff. They should be able to clearly explain plans and activities, lead discussions, and engage with students in a way that fosters community and spiritual growth.
COMPUTER AND MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Basic computer skills are required, including proficiency with word processing, email, and scheduling software. Experience with social media platforms, presentation tools, and event planning software is a plus. Basic math skills are helpful for managing event supplies and tracking attendance.
REASONING ABILITY
The individual must be able to plan and facilitate student events, adjust schedules as needed, and creatively solve problems in a dynamic ministry environment. Flexibility, quick thinking, and the ability to support multiple projects simultaneously are essential.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- The individual must be comfortable leading both indoor and outdoor activities, including assisting with camps, summer socials, and worship nights. The role requires the ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds for event setup and supplies. Reasonable accommodations may be made to support those with disabilities.
