Position Title:            Treasury Services & Implementation Specialist 
Reports To:                Director of Treasury Services 
Status:                        Hourly; Non-Exempt 
 
Position Summary:  The Treasury Services & Implementation Specialist will play a key role in managing the implementation and support of various treasury solutions for business clients. This individual will work closely with clients, internal teams, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless onboarding, setup, and ongoing support of treasury products designed to optimize cash management, fraud prevention, and payment processes. The position requires both technical expertise and a customer-focused approach to deliver successful solutions. As the primary point of contact for Treasury Management commercial clients, the Specialist will deliver personalized service and assist with complex solutions to meet client needs. Additionally, the role will involve supporting various projects as needed.                                                
 
Principal Responsibilities and Duties
Client Onboarding, Implementation & Support 
  • Lead the setup, implementation, and integration of treasury services, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to service delivery.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Prepare and execute agreements and necessary documentation for treasury products and services.
  • Manage implementation timelines, system testing, and post-implementation support to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Act as a liaison between clients, internal teams, and third-party vendors to resolve any issues.
Product Expertise & Technical Coordination
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on treasury management products such as ACH, Positive Pay, Fraud Protection, Lockbox, Remote Deposit Capture, and Merchant Services.
  • Educate clients on product functionality, fraud prevention tools, and best practices.
  • Assist clients with file setup, system configurations, and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Work with IT and back-office teams to ensure seamless integration of treasury services.
Ongoing Relationship Management
  • Provide highly personalized client service by proactively identifying opportunities to optimize treasury services.
  • Conduct periodic reviews with clients to ensure continued satisfaction and efficiency.
  • Monitor client activity, recommend process improvements, and ensure proper risk controls.
  • Coordinate communication across treasury sales, back-office, and front-office teams for timely request processing.
Risk Management & Compliance
  • Present initial risk reviews and periodic evaluations to the appropriate management committee.
  • Perform ongoing risk analysis, audits, and file reviews to maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist clients in adhering to fraud prevention protocols and security standards.
  • Adheres to all Federal and State laws and regulations applicable to the bank, including the Bank Secrecy Act and OFAC
Professionalism & Client Engagement 
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism in all client interactions.
  • Attend client meetings and training sessions in person, as needed.
  • Perform other duties as may be required or assigned

Education and Experience Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent required. A minimum of two years of banking experience required, with treasury services experience preferred. Valid driver’s license is required. Understands Federal, State and Union State banking rules and regulations. Bank-related courses strongly recommended.           

Specific Skills Required: Ability to communicate, written and verbal, effectively with people both internally and externally. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to identify and resolve problems. Organizational and time management skills. Ability to work with all levels within the organization. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Able to handle confidential information and positively represent the company.

Competencies: Communication, strategic thinking, teamwork, critical thinking, decision making, and strong collaboration. 

System Accesses: Fiserv Precision, Q2 Central, Q2 Centrix, RemitWeb, RemitPlusClient, RemoteDepositPlus, ProSign, IntraFi Management Portal, Adobe, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.

Equipment Used: Office equipment which includes computer, multi-line phone system, multi-function unit, etc. 

Working Conditions: Work is performed in an office environment. Prolonged (90%) sitting and periodic (less than 10% of the time) physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry or push heavy objects or materials weighing up to 50 pounds; Constant and repetitive use of arms and hands below shoulder level for computer usage; This position requires the individual to perform normal office activities including, but not limited to, lifting, filing and retrieving, operating office equipment, etc. Some travel will be required.
