QUALIFICATIONS:  
  • Licensed to practice in Louisiana
  • LTC experience preferred
  • Good communication & leadership skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage stress
  • Computer skills appropriate to job requirements and EHR.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate motor vehicle
Assisted Living LPN is in charge of designated nursing functions during his/her shift. Evaluates, plans, and implements adequate resident care and prevention of illnesses. Provides direct care, to the residents, and delegates and supervises the care provided by C N A’s/AMIs.
 
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Supervises  C N A’s /AMIs
  2. Functions as charge nurse during shift 
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  
  • Appropriate physical and mental health to adequately perform assigned duties
  • Ability to pull, push up to 90 pounds, lift up to 50 pounds
  • Emotional stability and maturity
  • Visual and hearing acuity to adequately perform assigned duties
  • Turning, stooping, bending, and lifting of residents; movement of small equipment and appliances.  Significant sitting, standing & walking for extended periods
  • Finger and hand dexterity to operate small equipment and perform skilled tasks
