PRN POSITION
The Physical Therapist provides services that help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain and prevent permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease. Restore, maintain, and promote overall fitness and health.
- Provides initial and ongoing assessment to determine level of function.
- Develops and revises the plan of care in consultation with the physician and other care-team members.
- Responsible for planning, evaluation, and treatment implementation of assigned caseload.
- Prepares clinical progress notes.
- Supervises therapy assistants.
- Evaluates outcomes.
- Educate patients and/or families on safe practices and equipment use.
- Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management techniques.
- Communicate with nursing staff on a regular basis of any patient issues.
- Establish and maintain positive interpersonal relations with internal and external customers.
- Maintain a positive and respectful attitude and demeanor.
- Adhere to all facility policies and procedures.

The facility provides a full-time staff of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, technicians and other ancillary personnel for patient care in the perioperative setting. In addition, the facility has available necessary equipment and trained personnel for handling unforeseeable emergencies.
