Horizon Health is seeking a full-time Director of Behavioral Health. The Director of Behavioral Health is responsible for ensuring successful day-to-day operations and delivery of behavioral health services to all sites of Horizon Health. The Director of Behavioral Health will oversee the delivery of behavioral health services by all behavioral health providers throughout the Horizon Health system, oversee development, implementation and growth of behavioral health programming, provide direct clinical services to patients, assist and support internal behavioral health training programs, provide clinical, developmental, and administrative supervision to behavioral health staff, and be an active member of the leadership team. This position can be remote or in any Horizon location.

Key Responsibilities:
  •  Serve in a leadership capacity for the behavioral health department and Horizon overall. Directly manage and supervise other behavioral health providers and trainees. Participate in leadership meetings, as appropriate. 
  •   Oversee expansion and sustainability of community needs based programming initiatives, including adding new behavioral health providers, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory agencies, supporting completion of provider credentialing and scheduling, and 
    other tasks as needed.
  •  Support the delivery of efficient, high-quality patient care through the development and implementation of workflows, optimization of the EHR system, and adoption of standards to support evidence-based care and to meet compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
