Benefits:
· Responsible for receiving, processing and responding to Releases of Information in accordance
with applicable regulatory standards.
· Responds to high volume of call and questions regarding the disclosure of Protected Health
Information.
· Submits and tracks Medical Record Disclosure Fees, creates and maintains spreadsheets,
and provides reports.
· Exercises sound judgment, critical thinking skills in the execution of job duties.
· One or more years’ experience in a medical records setting preferred.
· Knowledge of health terminology, regulatory standards relating to the release of health, mental health
and substance use information in accordance with 42 CFR Part 2.
· Exceptional attention to detail required and ability to interact in a professional manner with
consumers and other stakeholders.
· Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills, high-level written and oral
communication skills.
· Must be highly proficient in Excel and other computer applications and have the ability to
manage/organize data and reports.
