The Council on Alcoholism & Drug Abuse (CADA) is seeking a compassionate and motivated Adult Treatment Case Manager to join our Adult Residential Treatment Services team in downtown Santa Barbara.
The Adult Treatment Case Manager plays a key role in helping adults navigate their recovery journey from substance use by providing individualized case management and connecting them with vital community resources. In this role, you’ll work with clients in a residential detox setting to assess needs, coordinate services, and support treatment goals.
Qualifications:
- College degree or certificate in helping profession (Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, etc.), or equivalent experience.
- Certified/Registered credentialed counselor required.
- Knowledge of local community resources in Santa Barbara County
- Strong writing and documentation skills
- Ability to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized case management to clients in a residential detox setting
- Link clients to community resources such as housing, employment, healthcare, and recovery support
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation per DMC ODS (Title 22) guidelines
- Collaborate closely with Program Supervisors and the counseling team to coordinate care
- Support clients in their personal recovery journeys with empathy and consistency
- Stay informed on current best practices in addiction and mental health treatment
- Ensure treatment records are maintained professionally and confidentially
- Represent CADA with professionalism and uphold ethical standards in all client interactions
This is a full-time, 40 hours/week non-exempt position, with benefits including health, dental, vision and life insurance; retirement contribution; and paid time off (vacation, sick, holiday).
Compensation is dependent of the level of prior experience and qualifications, with a salary range of $22-$25, and a rate increase potential for bilingual (Spanish/English).
In compliance with the California Department of Health Care Services, staff require an up-to-date Tuberculosis test during the duration of employment.
