Your Impact
As the first point of contact for our patients, you set the tone for the entire visit. In this float role, you’ll travel to different PHC clinics as needed, ensuring seamless front desk operations and a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a welcoming, professional environment
- Answer phones and respond to inquiries with empathy and accuracy
- Schedule and confirm appointments, providing necessary visit details
- Verify insurance, collect payments/copays, and manage patient check-in/out
- Assist patients in completing sliding fee scale and medical assistance applications
- Receive and coordinate pickup of patient medication shipments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient front office and waiting area
- Accurately document patient interactions in the EMR system
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and PHC policies
- Travel to various PHC locations based on staffing needs
What We’re Looking For
- A passion for service and alignment with PHC’s Christian mission
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between clinics
- Prior experience in healthcare or customer service preferred
- Familiarity with EMR systems and basic insurance processes a plus
- Comfortable handling payments and maintaining accurate records
- Detail-oriented, organized, and a flexible team player

Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
