We are looking for top-tier team members to join our mission in advancing satellite communication equipment used for critical missions like aerial firefighting, camera data transmission from aircraft, and deployed team coordination.

DUTIES: 

  • Design and optimize wing, tail, and control surface geometries for hover, transition, and cruise flight. 
  • Use simulation tools like XFOIL, AVL, and CFD to evaluate performance. 
  • Generate aerodynamic models for integration into 6DOF flight simulations. 
  • Collaborate with structural, GNC, and propulsion teams to deliver flight-ready solutions. 
  • Support flight test efforts through data analysis and aero performance tuning. 

REQUIREMENTS: 

  •  Must be a U.S. Person (Defined as: a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident (green card holder), or an individual who has been granted asylum or refugee status, in accordance with U.S. export control regulations such as ITAR and EAR.)
  • Willing to commute or relocate. 
  • BS or higher in Aerospace Engineering or related discipline. 
  • Proven experience designing flight-proven wings—ideally in the 50–500 lb class. 
  • Proficient with aerodynamic analysis tools: XFOIL, AVL, panel methods, and 3D CFD. 
  • Strong grasp of airfoil design, stall characteristics, induced drag, and control effectiveness. 
  • Ability to iterate quickly across simulation, prototyping, and validation. 

EXPECTED HOURS/SCHEDULE: 

  • Full Time: Monday-Friday 8AM-6PM.
