Job title: Logistics Coordinator
Department: Mayzo Operations Center
Reports to: Director of Mayzo Operations Center
Type: Full Time Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm
Location: Mayzo Operations Center in Walterboro, SC
Compensation: $30/hr
Overview:
Mayzo is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our warehouse team. The logistics coordinator will help coordinate delivery orders and available resources, focusing on accurate and efficient delivery. They will use their strong ability to organize and communicate to monitor fleet resources. This dedicated individual assists the warehouse team by monitoring orders and processing warehouse transfer paperwork.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Send and manage all delivery confirmations.
- Provide all required paperwork for outgoing shipments on a daily basis.
- File claims with carriers on all damaged shipments, both inbound and outbound.
- Send and manage warehouse transfer communications.
- Monitor ticket documentation to ensure that orders are delivered on schedule.
- Track down missing orders and provide quick answers and solutions to customers and supervisors.
- Perform shipping feedback and monitor backorders as they are created.
- Perform warehouse transfer receival and update backorder status upon receival of material.
- Support the dispatcher in ensuring all deliveries have proper paperwork before any truck leaves.
- Support coordinating daily deliveries by using proprietary software to match orders with available fleet resources to ensure the fastest, most cost-effective route and best use of resources.
Qualifications:
- Experience with international shipping and HAZMAT.
- Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Clerical skills; tech savvy with MS Office proficiency.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
- Interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate with various levels of store personnel.
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to learn/grow with the company
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Continually required to stand

- Frequently required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
- Continually required to lift/push/carry items of more than 50 pounds
