FMM is seeking a motivated professional to fulfill our Maintenance Supervisor position. FMM is a maintenance and construction company servicing both residential and commercial clients nationwide.
 
Job Summary  The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee vendors and manage a team of technicians for a commercial site in New Orleans.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Included but not limited to) 
  • Make decisions using the 5 values of FMM as your guide: Quality, Teamwork, Pride, Passion, and Integrity
  • Responsible for all preventive maintenance, necessary maintenance, and minor repairs to the buildings mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems. Must have working knowledge of building mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, life safety, fire protection and security systems to ensure proper operations. Must be able to act upon any conditions that are out of the ordinary.
  • Conduct periodic general preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems. This includes normal lubrication, adjustment, cleaning, replacement of consumable parts (filters, indicator lights, etc.) and periodic testing of equipment. Conduct general building maintenance as needed.
  • Manages day-to-day operations and scheduling of Facilities Technicians to perform general repairs and maintenance
  • Assist technicians with issues at client facility
  • Perform all assigned work to ensure the safety of the building occupants and ensure continuous operation.
  • Be familiar with and conform to all written operating procedures associated with the site.
  • Adheres to operating procedures to ensure staff is operating as efficiently and effectively as possible
  • Ensures client contract compliance is upheld
  • Manages vendor contracts, reviewing with client as needed
  • Maintains communications with client as necessary, responding to all phone calls and requests in a timely manner
  • Addresses problems with staff and vendors to provide seamless service to clients
  • Generates and sends standard reports to clients
  • Reviews open and completed work orders to ensure accuracy of labor, parts, and vendor costs 

Required Skills and Abilities: 
  • 5 years experience in a general maintenance role
  • Knowledge of commercial systems
  • Tech savvy and proficient in Microsoft programs
  • Ability to perform maintenance related tasks in the field
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • A take initiative mindset
  • A strong focus on customer relations
  • Valid drivers license and clear driving record
  • Ability to pass a drug screen

Physical Requirements: 
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
  • Ability to pass a Fit for Duty Screening

Compensation: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
