Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with HiHealthCare, you will provide direct patient care and support daily living activities under the supervision of a licensed nurse. You will play a vital role in promoting the comfort, dignity, and wellbeing of residents in a long-term care facility.
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with HiHealthCare, you will provide direct patient care and support daily living activities under the supervision of a licensed nurse. You will play a vital role in promoting the comfort, dignity, and wellbeing of residents in a long-term care facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
- Observe and report any changes in residents’ condition to the nursing team
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with care plans and facility policies
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
Qualifications:
- Current Hawaii State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- CPR and First Aid certification (must be current)
- At least 6 months of experience in a long-term care or similar healthcare setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed
Schedule:
- Part-Time / Per Diem
