We are currently seeking a Final Assembly/Mounting Supervisor. This person is responsible for overseeing departmental employees and the quality of work performed. They hold team members accountable for efficiency, quality, safety and compliance with the company policy. They supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in the processing and/or development of a product. This position reports to the Manufacturing Manager.
- Supervise and direct efforts of staff, ensuring all work is coordinated, downtime is minimized, and product meets established quality standards.
- Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of department supervisors as assigned.
- Ensure department efficiency and in accordance with departmental goals.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Participates in the hiring process and handles coaching, discipline, and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
- Coordinates with supervisors to establish goals and criteria to be used in performance evaluations for assigned staff.
- Ensure the department has appropriate staff to meet objectives.
- Works to develop procedures and techniques to reduce process variation and manufacturing delays, while increasing productivity.
- Keeps and maintains appropriate production and employee records.
- Ensures that employees comply with company policies and safety standards.
- Coordinates with human resources to respond to employee concerns or complaints.
- Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of issues.
- Ensure all work performed meets company standards and complies with safety requirements.
- Communicate expectations and challenges to team members.
- Excellent managerial and supervisory skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Five years of related experience, with at least two years of supervisory experience, required.
