Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals
- Assist with examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Take and record vital signs and patient histories
- Prepare exam rooms and ensure a clean, safe environment
- Administer medications and injections as permitted by certification
- Support patients by explaining procedures and answering questions
- Document patient information accurately in medical records
- Uphold infection control, safety, and HIPAA standards
Qualifications:
- Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a clinical or facility-based setting preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification (other certifications may be required depending on facility)
- Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to different healthcare environments
- Excellent communication, attention to detail, and teamwork skills
