Community Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated Centralized Scheduler to join our outstanding team. This position will be responsible for coordinating and accurately scheduling appointments in the Electronic Health Record (EHR), answering patient requests/calls, and providing clerical support for multiple clinical departments. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Accurately scheduling appointments in the EHR, considering provider availability, patient needs, and urgency.
Answer patient calls, field questions, and assist patients with scheduling, rescheudling, and canceling appointments.
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements.
Obtain and verify insurance for appointments.
Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure smooth operations.
Obtain pertinent patient medical information, completing data entry, and managing reports. 

Qualifications include: excellent customer service skills, ability to meet the customer promptly with a warm and friendly reception. Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written are necessary. Computer skills to include the ability to access, manipulate, organize, and relay information accurately.  Must be able to work independently and effectively with others in a positive and productive manner. Confidentiality and HIPAA compliance is a must. This is a full-time position and may require early mornings and evenings. High school diploma or GED required. Previous clinical experience in a medical setting is preferred.
Compensation: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
