Your Role: As a Bilingual Spanish Front Desk Representative at the Good Shepherd, you will be the first point of contact for our patients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming Patients: Greet patients and guests in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring a positive start to their visit.
- Patient Registration: Accurately enter, update, and maintain patient information in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Appointment Scheduling: Schedule appointments for the medical team, notify them of patient arrivals, and manage any delays.
- Interpreting Services: Provide professional on-site Spanish interpreting services for patients, ensuring clear communication between patients and healthcare providers.
What We’re Looking For:
- Skills: Strong computer skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual in English and Spanish, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
- Attributes: A self-starter with a high degree of personal and professional integrity, mature problem-solving skills, and the ability to act quickly while maintaining exceptional customer service.

Compensación: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

The Good Shepherd Community Clinic, Inc. has grown from the original Tuesday night volunteer clinic in a small rental house only treating 85 patients, to a full-time, comprehensive Community Health Center caring for more than 9,600 medical and dental patients.
Today, our vision is to transform healthcare delivery by empowering each other, inspiring change, and building healthy people. The GSCC Team is committed to promoting patient wellness with an emphasis on prevention as well as education on important health factors like nutrition, disease self-management and physical activity.
