FMM is seeking a motivated professional to fulfill our Day Porter position. FMM is a maintenance and construction company servicing both residential and commercial clients nationwide.

Job Summary: Responsible for providing day porter custodial services for a commercial facility located in Lafayette, LA; maintaining cleanliness, safety, and a positive environment during business hours (8:00am - 5:00pm).

 Essential Job Duties: 
  • Board room set up as requested and per the board room set up calendar
  • Regular cleaning and disinfection of common areas (Lobby, restrooms, etc.)
  • Light maintenance (changing light bulbs, minor repairs as requested by the operations engineer, etc.)
  • Trash removal and recycling
  • Monitoring and restocking supplies
  • Follow a detailed schedule of day porter shifts
  • Provide a monthly report of completed tasks
  • Provide a budget estimate for the proposed services
Required Skills and Abilities: 
  • Make decisions using FMM's core values of Quality, Teamwork, Pride, Passion, and Integrity 
  • Must have at least 3 years of day porter experience
  • Time management
  • Must be reliable and punctual
 
 Physical Requirements: 
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
  • Ability to pass a Fit for Duty Screening
  • Ability to adhere to our drug and alcohol free workplace policy
  • Valid driver's license
