Title: Accounting Coordinator I
JOB SUMMARY
- Prepare and process invoices to be paid.
- Prepare and input timely payments for mortgages, vehicle notes, and leases.
- Process vendor statements.
- Weekly preparation and processing of accounts payable checks.
- Reconcile vendor statements to payments made and process accordingly.
- Void checks & re-enter invoices for payment.
- Maintain vendor files.
- Assist in preparations for financial auditors.
- Assist in preparation of cost reports and related audits.
- Maintain vendor files for IRS reporting of 1099’s.
- Punctual and regular attendance.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Controller.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
- Read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic accounting knowledge.
- More than one year of experience in the accounting field.
- Working knowledge of 10-key adding machine.
- Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Suite of products.
- The ability to learn additional systems as required.
- Constantly moves about to coordinate work.
- Regularly works in a fast-paced environment with multiple task deadlines.
- Regularly moves and positions objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Occasionally exposed to viruses and infectious conditions.
- Constantly alert and observant during working hours.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Will not supervise.
- May be required to attend seminars or job-related training courses.
- Must have the ability to maintain good working relationships with Evergreen staff and with contacts from other agencies or entities.
- Must be able to prioritize work tasks.
- Must have a good driving record that meets the minimum requirements for Evergreen and reliable transportation.
- Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which includes all shifts, including nights, days, and weekends.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace.
- Aptitude to learn other software programs as required for this position.
