Position Summary:

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of invoices. This position requires a highly organized and detailed work style.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role
  • Proficient in Microsoft & Google Office applications
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • Proficient in Quickbooks
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to analyze financial information and identify discrepancies
  • Experience with general ledger reconciliation is a plus
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of related experience is preferred.

General Duties:

  • Process accounts payable invoices and ensures accurate and timely payments
  • Review and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies
  • Maintain and update vendor records in the accounting system
  • Prepare and process transfers and payments (electronic or manual)
  • Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any payment issues or inquiries
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation
  • Assist with other accounting duties as assigned

Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
