Position Description: Teach graduate level courses in the Counselor Education Program online and on-campus.
• Doctorate in Counselor Education or Counseling from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university
• Valid Texas School Counselor certification
• Three or more years relevant school counseling experience
• Evidence of teaching online and face-to-face classes
• A commitment to academic excellence and spiritual vitality
• Faith, mission and community lifestyle standards that meets University expectations
• Willingness to embrace and support Nelson's core values of servant leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
• Three or more years relevant school counseling experience
• Graduation from a CACREP accredited Counseling program
