Position Title: Central Ministry Assistant for Kids
Campus: All
Reports to: Lead Kids Pastor
Status: Part time, 28 hours  
 
Position Summary: 
To provide timely, efficient, and accurate administrative services to the Family Ministries team and Lead Kids Pastor, volunteers and congregations that is consistent with Central’s vision and core values. 
 
This individual must fit within our collaborative culture and build teams that represents the campus and the community in areas of gender, ethnicity, and age.

Responsibilities: 
 
Ø  Support Kids Pastor, Kids Ministry team, and CLI Team.
Ø  Be the primary source of information about the Family Ministries. 
Ø  Maintain and respond appropriately to inquiries concerning the Family Ministries. 
Ø  Set up and Support family ministries events and camps, including creating all Activity request forms.
Ø  Create brochures, flyers, booklets, handouts, and publications as needed. 
Ø  Communicate with Pastors/Directors/Volunteers.
Ø  Help provide a friendly, inviting, welcoming environment in the office.
Ø  Order resources for CLI & Kids Ministry.
Ø  Process all department’s check requests.
Ø  Reconciliation of Lead Kids Pastor’s credit card.
Ø  Assist and help maintain budget for four campuses.
Ø  Run monthly Budgeted Financials for Kids Team.
Ø  Maintain monthly statistics sheets and run additional status reports as needed.
Ø  Maintain announcements, databases, and CLI forms in ROCK/Notion.
 
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
 
Ø  Excellent communication skills
Ø  Ability to organize and respond promptly to multiple priorities and requests are essential.
Ø  Must have strong Excel and Microsoft Word skills.

Physical Requirements: 
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to twenty pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
