- Actively seek and bring on new accounts.
- Develop your current book of business and grow it over time.
- Grow and maintain a sales team of at least 10 people at any given time.
- Train new inside sales reps up to the level of performance you expect.
- Drive the development of your team members to transition into Account Management roles.
- Act as the face of the account and the main contact via email and phone.
- Communicating the good or bad news via phone and email.
- Calling and emailing potential customers to develop a relationship.
- Attend Quarterly business reviews for high level objectives with senior level management for the clients.
- Monthly or weekly Continuous improvement calls and strategy with both management and the client.
- Conduct RFP reviews and lane list execution.
- Utilize spot quoting tools and show an ability to execute.
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience required.
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in logistics or business related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in a logistics environment required.
- Experience with and/or ability to learn a variety of TMS/CRM platforms.
- Above average proficiency with Google Drive and Microsoft Office (vlookup, pivot tables, reports).

Working Conditions:
- Generally in an indoor office setting; may include occasional participation in outdoor company events.
- Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays, weekends and extended hours as business dictates.
- While performing duties of this job, the employee is primarily in a controlled, temperate environment; however, may be exposed to heat/cold during support of outside activities.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
