Job Title: Warehouse Clerk Reports to: Warehouse Manager FLSA: Non-Exempt
Position Information: Administrative support of the efforts of the Warehouse Department. Handles data entry, prepares order and invoices while assisting drivers and warehouse associates. Answers phones, files and provides assistance with tasks and projects as assigned.
Essential Position Functions:
- Data Entry into several software systems (including an ERP system).
- Checking in drivers and assigning inbound/outbound doors.
- Prepare shipping orders through SAP and Cargill.
- Prepare invoices and receiving inbound receipts.
- Phone/Switchboard and assisting employees with general questions.
- Filing and other duties as assigned
- Other Duties as Assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong customer service and communication skills required.
- Strong data entry skills – high level of attention to detail and accuracy. Preferable with warehouse management software.
- Ability to handle fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.
- Ability to be self-directed and self-motivated, as well as work with a team.
- Ability to multi-task and coordinate a variety of activities and projects simultaneously and prioritize work.
- Possess problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Education & Experience:
- A minimum of one-year office support experience, preferably in a warehouse environment.

Physical Demands:
- This is largely a sedentary role; however, the ability to lift up to 20 lbs. is necessary
- Requires standing, bending, sitting for long periods, repetitive use hands/fingers
- Able to work in an open office warehouse environment with raised voice level noise and stay focused on duties.
Work Environment:
- This job operates in a warehouse office environment. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, file cabinets and fax machines
Supervisory Responsibility:
- This position has no direct Supervisory responsibility.
- This position receives Supervision depending upon the assignment. In some cases, Supervisor outlines steps involved in completing assignments or standard procedures are available to enable the employee to work in a routine fashion. The end results of this work are sometimes checked.
Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
