An exciting opportunity at Maryhill Winery, one of the Northwest's Premier wineries. We are currently in need of part-time personnel at the Goldendale Distribution Center. Successful candidates for this position will provide exceptional service and a desire to be part of a diverse team that directly contributes to the success and quality of our business with a respectful and supportive work environment.
Job Summary
Club Packing Laborers work within a team to assemble and package wine cases in the distribution facility assisting the Distribution Center Manager with routine tasks including pulling, palletizing, and loading orders; duties related to labeling, packaging, and warehousing of bottled or finished products. Must be reliable, able to work both independently and as part of a team, willing to learn and improve, have a positive attitude, and possess a good work ethic. Workers utilize equipment such as a forklift to reach upper levels. Proficiency in driving a forklift is a plus, but not necessary; we can train. Casual work opportunity averaging 20 hours weekly.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assemble, Pack and Label cases for shipment or storage.
- Identify and dispose of defective items.
- Properly use packing materials, box knife, tape gun.
- Help maintain an organized and clean work environment.
- Work in a temperature-controlled environment, 55-65°F.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Requirements, Skills and Qualifications
- Follow all Maryhill guidelines for packing and safety rules.
- Safely operate lift trucks while putting away finished goods from the production lines.
- Repetitive reaching, grasping, bending, twisting, and lifting.
- Able to lift and carry, up to 50 lb. without concern: Frequently.
- Able to stand and walk for long period of time: Frequently.
- Able to push/pull, up to 50 lb. without concern: Often.
- High School Diploma, or equivalent: Minimum requirement.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
