Little Blessings is hiring part-time Support Teachers for the weekday Preschool Ministry at LifeMission Church's Olathe Campus. Applicants must be 16 years old. Hours vary between 8am~4pm Monday through Friday.

LifeMission Support Teacher Position
Principal Job Responsibilities:
• General Responsibilities
> Support, guide, nurture and teach the 2 ½ to six-year old children enrolled at the center.
> Share God’s love through positive and encouraging interaction with the children.
> Implement activities that support Little Blessing’s curriculum.
> Plan (Lead Teacher) or support activities that promote Physical, Emotional, Cognitive, Social and Spiritual Development.
> Participate in approximately 16 training hours, including Empowered to Connect, Conscious Discipline and Handwriting Without Tears strategies each school year.
> Attend 4-5 evening events throughout the school year.
> Pre-K Lead teachers assess kindergarten readiness with Handwriting Without Tears forms and host Parent/Teacher conferences in the Spring.
Required Competencies / Skills for Position:
• Passion for Jesus and children.
• People oriented-ability to interact and communicate with children and their parents.
• Organization - ability to use structure and routine to ensure the days run smoothly.
• Flexible - ability to understand that children’s energy levels sometimes dictate a change in plans.
• Ability to work and collaboratively with staff members.
• Positive and solution-oriented attitude.
• Plan lessons using the center’s syllabus and curriculum.
General Physical Requirements:
• Ability to move around comfortably and frequently.
• Ability to sit on the floor or small chairs to interact at a child’s eye-level.
• Lift and/or push preschool supplies and carts to the preschool office to flip classrooms for weekend services.

In 2002 LifeMission Church was born as a Bible study in Pastor Clint and Mary’s Olathe home.
