Position Summary
This position is responsible for setting up breakfast and afternoon snacks at Manitou Lodge. This position will also ensure that the property and common areas are neat and welcoming, including general guest services to in-house guests.
PT mornings 3-4 days per week, 6:00am - 11:00 am.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Set up, restock and clean up breakfast for guests.
- Report guest service requests, property issues and inventory status/orders to manager.
- Provide guests with additional linen or amenities are requested.
- Knowledge of property including but not limited to basic troubleshooting of Wi-Fi routers, TVs, appliances, thermostats.
- Inspect property for maintenance issues, maintain clean and neat common areas.
- Care for plants/flowers in summer months, distribute snow ice melt and report snow removal needs in winter months.
- Exhibit strong knowledge of Telluride and surrounding area in order to provide guests with recommendations of activities, dining options and other services as requested.
- Other duties as assigned.
Essential Job Requirements
- EDUCATION: High School degree, G.E.D. or equivalent experience
- EXPERIENCE: At least 1-years of customer service experience
- REQUIRED SKILLS: Flexible work schedule including early mornings, weekends and holidays. Reliable, responsible with strong customer service and communication skills
- PREFERRED SKILLS: Attention to detail, polite, patient, ability to bake/basic food prep
- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to ascend/descend stairs, and lift/carry/push/pull 20 pounds.
Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
