We believe the simplicity and truth of the story of Jesus can change lives. That is why we focus all our effort on helping people know Jesus and love like Him. In the past four decades of ministry at Rocky, this simple idea has changed thousands of lives and relationships. When we partner our lives with Jesus and His church, life change begins to happen.
First Things First.

- We put Jesus above everything else knowing that when we put first things first, everything else falls into place. We will be generous with our time, our talents, and our finances in order to give God our best. Matthew 6:33; Mark 12:30-31

- We value relationships and believe God calls us to be known. We will do the hard work of serving alongside one another and commit ourselves to the community through groups.Hebrews 10:23-25; Acts 2:42-47
Show Up.
- We use our gifts and talents to make a difference in the lies of others. Philippians 2:4-13
For the One.
- Jesus said that a good shepherd is willing to leave the ninety nine sheep and go after the one that is lost. Following God’s passion, we will put our preferences aside and do our best to share Jesus with as many people as possible. Matthew 18:12
Rocky Statement of Faith
- There is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the creator and ruler of all things, and is the redeemer of mankind.
- Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He died on the cross as a perfect sacrifice to pay the penalty for our sins, and God raised Him from the dead on the third day.
- The Holy Spirit is our guide and comforter. He empowers believers to fulfill God’s vision and purpose for their lives.
- People are created by God to have a personal relationship with Him. Sin severs our relationship with God and leaves us in need of rescue.
- Salvation is a gift offered to us by God’s grace apart from any personal work or achievement.
- The appropriate response to God’s grace is to believe, repent, confess, be baptized, and partner our lives deeper with Jesus, His church, and His mission.
- Biblical baptism is by immersion, as practiced and instructed by Jesus and the early church.
- The Bible is the authoritative Word of God, which guides all we say and do.
- We believe the Church is a community of people who know Jesus and love like Him.
